Hi again Penny :)LDN is Low Dose Naltrexone. You can find out by doing a simple

Google search on 'LDN' as well as joining one of the many groups on Yahoo which

deal with explaining a lot about it and Dudley Delaney who I think responded to

you also always explains a lot about it too. Some good sites to get som info from

are the ldn research trust (www.ldnresearchtrust.org), LDN Aware

(www.ldnaware.org) or www.msrc.co.uk - lot of information for you! :)The MSRC

site also has further information on the BBD (Best Bet Diet) which is not only

'healthy' for anyone with or without a 'condition', is a great way to lessen the

activity of 'MS' in many people.'MS' is a condition which has differing affects

in different people - no one person's 'MS' is the same as another's. Has your

doctor mentioned 'MS' as a possible cause of your aforementioned symptoms?I

would push for an MRI if you believe it IS 'MS', but I am a nightmare atis a tad

headstrong and forceful! ;)Gd luck with it, and hopefully, it will turn out to

only be anxiety and we'll neverhear from you again! ('MS' is nothing I would

wish on even my worst enemy)

I have not yet had an MRI. My doctor seems to think this is due to

anxiety. What is LDN?

Oh Penny, I was unaware that you had had an MRI previously - I thought you had

said that you hadn't.I have to agree with Mike on this one.Get checked for all

things which can mimic 'MS' as Mike has put forward. :)

Penny,

I'm not a doctor but I'd say because your age and the fact that you already had

an MRI that was neg for MS (years ago), look into ruling other things out that

mimic MS.

Hi Penny,

Naltrexone is an inexpensive generic pharmaceutical approved by the U.S. Food

and Drug Administration for treating drug and alcohol addiction. In very low

doses (less than 1/10 that approved by the FDA), it is proving to be remarkably

effective in treating multiple sclerosis--with minimal side effects and at a

price anyone can afford.

The above site features links to LDN-related research, case histories,

discussion groups, books, articles, and video clips.

With best wishes,
