Edie,

Hopefully you are not eating anything that showed up in your ELISA test.

I am very fortunate in that my husband loves cooking so I can follow the BBD

easily and it has helped me so much.

Even if I were having to fend for myself I know now that I would not stray from

the diet and certainly not eat any sweets or processed foods. I'd eat a lot of

raw food which would save me cooking.

Often if you crave a food, it is an underlying allergy that could be pushing you

towards it.

It seems a waste of money to me to bother taking vitamins and other supplements

when one eats processed foods. I suppose one could argue that you'd be even

worse without them.

I encourage you to look at the Best Bet Diet. No, it doesn't work for everyone

but it has certainly helped me. I've had CCSVI treatment and am still on the

BBD, do daily yoga and swim so I know I will get all the benefits possible out

of it.

Good luck,

Janet

Spending time reading your grandmother’s experience was enlightening. I’m sorry

to say, the one sister , who is the only one who lives local, is currently upset

with me, as I had to call her the morning I fell and couldn’t get up. When she

arrived, I was already upset and my words were sharp. Especially when she made

the comment, “I know how you feel”.

I don’t have the willpower your grandmother had nor the access to someone like

her sister. I go to the grocery store myself with a young man who pushes the

cart for my groceries.

In my condition, I tend to choose anything and everything which is easy to

prepare, those being processed foods, frozen meals and sweets. I tend to have

cravings for sweets, ie. cookies, anything chocolate, etc. I prepared a pan of

beans and corn bread the other day because I knew it would make several

servings. Not only were the pans too heavy for me to manage, it wasn’t long

until I was tired of leftovers.

I want to try to print the writings of your grandmother as, she has answered a

lot of questions I’ve had regarding vitamins and minerals I take on a daily

basis.

With living in a different era, I have the opportunity to have the CCSVI

treatment. In the past, I even have the results of the test for food allergies.

Now, I’ll go back and review them.

Thank you for sharing your grandmother’s experience, she not only is a blessing

to me but, to others.
