Downs Syndrome/facial characteristics

Hey, Jo-Ann, I've never heard anything about the hands in Downs Syndrome children. But my niece has it and the facial characteristics are definitely there. It's in the shape of their eyes... and their nose is flatter (for lack of a better word). She also has dental problems which I understand is mostly due to the Downs, but I'm not sure how. But you know... she's definitely one of the sweetest kids I've ever met. Okay... that has nothing to do with the u/s but I just had to throw it in. LOL Did I have a point?
