Glad to hear everything is going well!!

I don't know a whole lot about the measurements that you were given. But,

they all are just measurements to look for abnormal symmetry in growth or

growth retardation.

Here's what they stand for:

> BPD: 4.1 cm - biparietal diameter

> HC: 15.3 cm - head circumference

> AC: 13.1 cm - abdominal circumference

> FL: 2.7 cm - femur length

>

> HC/AC ratio: 1.16, (Head circumference/Abdominal Circumference ratio)

> Cephalic index: 82 (looks for assymetry in skull development)

I really don't know how to interpret them. But, it sounds like your little

on is right on track!!

Biparietal diameter (basically the head diameter from ear to ear)

Head circumference

Abdominal circumference at about the waist level

Femur length

These ratios and indices are to see if the head and body

are " symmetrical " and to arrive at an estimate of gestational age.

If for instance the baby had the head of a 20 weeker and the body of

an 18 weeker, then IUGR or some other problem might be suspected.

At 19w4d, my baby's measurements were comparable but just a bit

larger, since he was past 18 weeks.

I haven't a clue what those are for, but I'd guess they are

measurements of various bones and stuff???????
