Alana, I tell myself that too (it will get done when I get to it) but

when I get tired of seeing 'it' I just can not roll up my sleeves &

just dive in. For sure this need is tied into my own self esteem/ego

etc. I also seem to just be 'wired' to run at a faster speed. And as

in all things, there is good and bad in that too.

Believe it or not, a while back I read an article that talked about a

German doctor and his daughter (also a doctor) who were advocating

being 'lazy'!! They claim that being easier on one's body (more rest,

mellow pace) seems to be tied to a longer life. Makes sense in many

ways, but I was nearly shocked to read this coming from a German

person as they are for the most part 'driven' to say the least ;-)

[i'm German background so I very much understand this!]

Laze on darling :) ehugs, Katcha

the sun, I'm pretty good at just being plain lazy! My motto is " I'll

get done what I can get done, what I don't get done,it's not going

anywhere and will be there tomorrow " (at least as far as housework goes):)

Then I must be the exception that proves that German rule ... LOL

(My mother sometimes swears they must have given her the wrong baby

in the hospital. Hell, I don't even like beer - that makes me un-

German AND un-Australian. Tragic.)

Hey, , I like your box of stuff hidden in the bedroom trick -

might use that next time! My little hint for you ... your average

oven can actually accommodate quite a large mound of dirty dishes

that need to " disappear " in a hurry. :-D

Giggles! My mom used to lament that she must have done something wrong

because she raised a Californian who doesn't drink wine! (I also don't

like beer, but have enjoyed it in Munich where it and the bread is

better than good! Guess you just need to return to the Home Land for

somethings - LOL!!) - Katcha

Hmm...I'm from California -and Italian - and didn't drink wine til I moved to

the UK. still

don't drink it much.

Another for me was coffee. When I lived in England everyone assumed that, being

American, I

must loooove cofffee. I so hated to disappoint them when they excitedly offered

me coffee

instead of tea. But I can't stand the stuff :) Love the smell, though

Heh, my " ancestry " I guess is Italian on both sides and

I don't like olives.

A friend of mine thought that was bizarre.

Red wine, can't drink it, it makes me feel like hell. Though, I've

never been much of a drinker anyway.
