Guest guest
This is a truly lovely idea for a gift. I must say that I am still trying to get a good grip on the whole supplement 'thing' myself, but D3 seems to be helping me quite a bit, I take 2000 IUs a day. A B complex was pretty good too, but, I believe, is mainly for mood. Fish or Cod Liver Oil helped me 'function' better also... and I need to get back on. Good luck, the supplement maze is easy to get 'lost' in. :-) ~
Guest guest
Minerals have been more effective for me than vitamins. I don't think blanket advice is particularly helpful for the intake of nutrients. Individual needs aren't universal. Everything is a protagonist and an antagonist. For example, vitamin C is good to take for a cold but bad to supplement if you have a problem with iron. Get tested or do some research before you start following dietary advice from people who don't know your condition. They are merely suggestions to investigate. > > This is a truly lovely idea for a gift.
