Guest guest
Treat Multiple Sclerosis with Prokarin Generally people with MS have increased levels of iron deposits due to not enough transferrin. Transferrin is needed to carry the iron (ferrous) into the cells so that the cells can utilize the iron. Because this is deficient, the iron is... collecting in deposits outside the cells. So taking any supplements containing iron in the form of ferrous sulfate or ferrous gluconate will compound this problem. MS patients' cells are in need of iron though so the best form of iron is heme iron that is found in red meat. Heme iron doesn't require transferrin to carry it into the cells. This is one of the reasons why it is important to eat a serving of red meat such as beef, buffalo or venison 3-4 times a week.
