Guest guest
Hi Shaunta! Welcome to the group! This is a wonderful bunch of folks and Z. is the absolute best!!! I checked out your website and it looks like you are really committed! Have you been a vegetarian or is this something new to you? Just be careful to get enough protein as it is one of the building blocks for your body. And don't forget to drink a lot of water. I wish you much success in your new program and look forward to getting to know you better. Just a note about myself for you newbies out there. I am a 39 year old married working mother of a beautiful almost 4 year old daughter. I have been doing WW for a while now and have successfully lost 24 pounds forever! I am currently in a lull on my program as I have been having a problem in the motivation department, but I expect that to change shortly. Anyway on a bright note, during my " lull " , I have maintained my weight so I guess I have learned something from WW!! Congrats to all you " losers " ! (Maybe you can get me motivated through your successes!) in NC " Shaunta Grimes " on 11/04/2001 12:01:04 AM Please respond to wwliterside To: wwliterside cc: (bcc: -C /BRE/AGFA/US/BAYER) Subject: Hi everyone My name is Shaunta. Guest guest
What fun those tapes are and congrats on that loss. Way to go in the right direction! I am so glad you are off to a good start and liking the group. It is nice to have your input here. Also, you're welcome to come over for dinner anytime. My DH just asked me not to cook any more venison for awhile since that's all he's been getting for a week, sorry! > hi everyone, is not much but i lost one pound, allright,i think is my > tae-bo i didnt today, but whenever i used the tae-bo basic i loose > some weight, im going to with it, im really very excited, is being a > while since i had done that, love you all, sara

Guest guest
Welcome! You are very observant because this IS a very supportive group for people who want to adopt a healthier lifestyle! WW is great but I'm sure it has changed dramatically in 7 years. In the current program, you can eat ANYTHING you want it just teaches moderation on the less healthy foods. You can go to the WW site and check it out. Post often. I look forward to getting to know you! I wanted to join because it looks like there is a lot of support for people who want to lose weight the smart way. I have been wanting to join the Weight Watchers for a few months but have never gotten around to it. Is it a good program? I use to be a member about 7 years ago but I stopped going. Any great advise on how I can start motivating myself to loose about 50 pounds. I now weight in around 190. I was hopping to be at my ideal weight by the fall. Guest guest
Hi Gillian, I have been having problems with the amount of duplicate posts I receive ( I don’t read from the yahoo group page but thought I would let you know), I end up with two of every post for some reason but it’s not causing any problem although its only happening with this group and not others I am in Sharon From: IntuitiveEating_Support [mailto:IntuitiveEating_Support ] On Behalf Of Gillian Hood-son Sent: Thursday, 17 January 2008 12:39 PM To: IntuitiveEating_Support Subject: Hi Everyone Hi Everybody! First, welcome to all our new members! We have had quite a few and I'm so happy to have you here and to see this group growing, and to see intuitive eating in general growing in awareness. Guest guest
Yay - I was afraid my email wasn't working.I am new. I first came across the book " Intuitive Eating " a few years ago and it never really worked for me then, probably partially because I treated it like a diet. Anyway I made a New Year's resolution to count calories and lose weight but within a few days I realized it wasn't going to work. I was overeating much more than I usually would and it was taking all my mental energy. Dieting feels so bad, emotionally. I have no idea whether I can do this but I am going to give it a good shot because dieting just isn't an option. Anyway, nice to meet you all! Look forward to chatting!Meg
Guest guest
Welcome Meg. I too fell flat the first time I tried non-dieting. I loved reading Geneen Roth's books, but couldn't put her ideas to work for me. After some years I found this group and I have been able to get IE working for me as I can. Its a slow process for me, but this group really helps to keep me on track. Hope to read more from your soon. Posting often worked for me. - Katcha > > Yay - I was afraid my email wasn't working. > > I am new. Guest guest
Thanks!!!!I will definitely let you know how goes. Yeah, Katcha, you would think it would be easy, just " I won't diet, " but dieting isn't why I gained weight. I didn't work hard at doing some of the other things mentioned in the book, knowing when you are full being a big one, and so of course I was disappointed with the results of not dieting but also not doing anything else to replace it. And so I went on a diet! Thanks for the support, ttyl!Meg
