Guest guest
I like Kashi Go Lean Crunch. I think because I never had it when I was on WW because I didn't want to " waste " my points on it. Now I have it nearly every work morning mixed in with yogurt. It's the perfect breakfast for work (unless I get a phone call - LOL) and all I have to bring with me in the morning is my yogurt since the cereal stays there. That, paired with a piece of fruit, usually satisfies me enough to last from about 8 until 11 or so. If I have oatmeal I'm hungry an hour later, if not less. It's interesting how each of us have food that is now undesirable due to bad diets. And sad. --- julieca84 wrote: > LOL, Go Lean Crunch....my nemesis! Guest guest
, Agreed. One of the challenges I am currently facing is to dissociate certain foods with dieting. I have no desire to separate light versions of favorites from dieting, but I am having to re-discover whether I like the foods that were legal during dieting days. It's an interesting process..kind of fun, though > It's interesting how each of us have food that is now > undesirable due to bad diets. Guest guest
True! I will say that dieting for so many years on WW did give me some good food ideas that I still incorporate just because I liked them so much: Brown rice Cucumber topped with tuna salad String cheese and apple snack combination Hummus and bell pepper (just not green) Bananas and fat free chocolate pudding I'm sure I could think of more but I'm kind of sleepy! --- julieca84 wrote: > , > > Agreed. Guest guest
I loved brown rice and hummus - but you can keep the fat free 'pudding'. Just the homemade stuff with whole milk and eggs, sweetened to my family's tastes (as in, not too -we find a lot of things too sweet for us) - it's a good way to get eggs into kids, too > > > , > > > > Agreed. Guest guest
Oatmeal is one of the FEW foods I can reliably depend upon to fill me up - that's the primary reason I eat it for breakfast most days (secondary reason is it's good for you!) If I have my oatmeal at 5:30am I usually don't even start to get hungry until about noon. If I have almost any other breakfast, seems I'm starving by about 9:30!! I've even packed oatmeal for lunch sometimes. I can nuke it easily at work and it is filling enough to get me through my after-work workout before I finally settle in for dinner at about 6. I've never tried oatmeal with an egg in it, but I'm INTRIGUED now. I will try it tomorrow morning. I've been wanting to sneak some protein into my breakfast, anyway, so this seems like a good idea. Guest guest
Hi , I'm like you, I like the Kashi Go Lean Crunch. But I do know what the other ladies are saying about it cutting their mouth. I let mine soak a minute or two in milk and I find it's fine. I love the crunchiness. In fact, I don't think there is a Kashi product out there that I don't like. Have you tried their frozen entrees and pizza's? Not bad. And I love how their foods have more protein and fiber that what you can get in anything else. And they taste good. --Alana -------------- Original message -------------- I like Kashi Go Lean Crunch. Guest guest
I've never had Kashi - so I had to look it up. Are any of you who eat it regularly hypothyroid? > > Hi , > I'm like you, I like the Kashi Go Lean Crunch.
Guest guest
I love Kashi Go Lean Crunch! It's funny though, before I was " dieting " I used to eat it every morning because I loved the taste. I started dieting and started forbidding it! You'd think because it had " go lean " in the name, I would go for it but just like you, I couldn't bear to " waste " my calories on it. I had many a binge with that cereal, and I'm still not ready to try to legalize it! I want to though, because I love it!! > > I like Kashi Go Lean Crunch.
