Dear FORUM,

Mr. Nacthwey , world famous photojournalist and TED prize winner for 2007

has been on a mission to create a unprecedented globa l awareness campaign on

the scourge of MDR and XDR-TB.

Over the past year, has travelled the world (including India) to give a

face to the brace people impacted by this disease: patients, families,

caregivers, field workers, doctors, nurses, and many others who work day in and

day out to make a difference. The campaign aimed at mobilizing funds and

resources for those fighting this deadly epidemic was launched simultaneously

across the world including New Delhi on 3rd October.

TED, short for Technology, Enterprise and Design is a conference aimed at

bringing together people from these three worlds. The TED Prize was created as a

way of taking the inspiration, ideas and resources that are generated at TED and

using them to make a difference.

Here is Nachtwey's TED wish working on a story that the world needs to

know about. “I wish for you to help me break it, in a way that provides

spectacular proof of the power of news photography in the digital age. "

This Major TED Prize Wish has now coming true. I urge you to take three minutes

out of your day, and click on this link:
