Cottonseed is ok. Mother's margarine is made from it.

Gosh, I've always used Welche's, never considering that it could have

gluten. I just read the label and nothing looks suspicious. Does anyone

know one way or the other?

Cottonseed oil is gfcf, just pretty nasty stuff for other reasons. (It is

prone to toxic aflatoxins, often full of pesticides as it is not grown as a

food crop, etc.) But I have to confess, on a trip to New England last

month, I bought plain Utz chips (never heard of them in CA) and they were

yummy and gfcf.
