Guest guest Posted January 17, 2008 Report Share Posted January 17, 2008 Hi Kathy, that is really a bummer, but I think you may come to like reading at the actual site even better than the individual/digest emails. I sure do as the site is organized to 'link' posts of a common topic so that you can easily read thru a thought with replies. I don't know about you, but I always suspect such emails that tell about an 'account problem' as phishing/spam. Unfortunately large sites like Yahoo are a target for hacking and gathering of 'resources' like email. I think identity theft will, if it already hasn't, expanded to internet IDs too. You can always forward such emails to spoof@... which is I think the email for checking out/reporting such emails to Yahoo for them to look into. Glad you haven't given up on IE because of a technical difficulty! There are already enough road blocks or stumbling points for us to go by or over come without having technical ones added to the list. There are viruses that can send email from your address to make it look like a valid email. I just checked your membership status and everything looks fine for this group. Hopefully things will straighten out. I've had intermittent problems with various Yahoo groups I belong to. There are a couple that I can't post to via email, I have to go to the group site and post there. It really bugs me, but no one knows what to do about it.
