Convened by The Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting Corporation (IRIB) The

International Conference o­n Media and Health Oriented Organizations will be

held in Tehran 8-10 March 2009. This conference is organized to examine the

status of, and current challenge facing health and media around the world, with

special focus o­n the current situation in Iran.

This conference aims to bring together scholars and practitioners associated

with the study and practice of health and media to demonstrate the relevance of

the discipline, and its philosophy and applications, for the contemporary

world.

The call for papers is open to every professional in this field. The

deadline for submission is Nov 30, 2008.

IRIB will cover the whole cost of registration for all international experts

whose abstract are approved.

I think it is a good opportunity for all of you to reflect your experience,

researches and success stories about " communication for development " ,

" participatory communication " , " social mobilization " and relevant disciplines

especially in the context of HIV & AIDS epidemic.
