Guest guest
Anybody know how to get thera-putty off of a stuffed animal? Kep decided to wrap his precious Lambie in the firm green stuff. I've been picking at it all morning. Is there a better way to get it off? Guest guest
OH NO!!! I was going to post about Theraputty when you mentioned it before... I don't think you'll be able to get it off...but that's just my opinion, or at least has been my experience. - You can try putting lambie in the freezer.... ugh... OH, poor Lambie. He's been puked on, peed on, lost, found, given two new bodies over the years, been restuffed countless times, and now he has a half green mask of thera-putty. I'll keep trying as Kep is a bit disturbed by this. For those of you that don't know, Lambie is Kep's lovey. Lambie has been with him since day one. It was the first thing put in Kep's crib in the hospital! His ears are worn away, along with his nose. He generally stinks, but Kep loves him and needs him at night for comfort. Guest guest
Freeze it, chip off what you can, & then try peanut butter. says PB works. Oil would probably work too; the oil in the pb is what would dissolve the theraputty. But straight oil will stain cloth. You may have the theraputty stain, though. -Sara. Well, Kep took Lambie to school today, so that is one more day that I can't try the freezing and pb trick. Oh well, I suppose if it isn't upsetting Kep anymore? Poor Lambie. He looks like the phantom of the opera, only his mask is quite green.
