I have struggled with diets and have lost over 300 pounds...and gained about 290 pounds. About 9 months ago I knew I had to find something to help me with weight loss but without the deprivation of dieting. I bought and read the book " Intuitive Eating: A Revolutionary Plan That Works " . I liked what they said and began to try it out. Just recently I feel I have overcome the guilt of eating what I want. Now I am working on listening to my body on when I am truly hungry, what I am hungry for and when I am not hungry. It is a challenge but at least I feel good about it and am not beating myself up for eating something. I am a single, soon to be 50 year old male. I am a high school principal and have a hectic schedule which leads to some challenges in my intuitive eating. I look forward to being part of the group and picking everyone's brains and experiences.
