Guest guest
Hi everyone! Just thought I'd share. I tried a pancake recipie out of the book the Gluten Free Gourmet. This recipie tastes just like the " real thing " . Everyone in my family loves them: 1 CUP GF Flour 1/4 cup Butter milk powder ( I used Dari free) 1 Tablespoon sugar 1 teaspoon baking powder (GF) 1/2 teaspoon baking soda 1/2 teaspoon salt 2 eggs 1cup water 2 Tablespoons vegetable oil We've tried these with blue berries and without and they are good both ways. Ok. A question that I have for all you bread makers. Is there anything that can be done to " lighten " up the GFCF bread a bit? I was wondering what would happen if you added several whipped egg whites to the batter? The other day I made a loaf of bread in the machine and it turned out ok, but it's still so dense and heavy. Any suggestions? THANKS, Meyer
