Should I call it Venting?

All of us know the game Wait and See. I played it for two and a half years.

Some of you have played it a lot longer.

Lois and I took it to a new level this winter. It's been a wait and see game

since last August and it's not over yet.

A few of you knew that Lois was diagnosed with breast cancer right before

Autumn in Carolina.

First a mammogram.

Wait and see.

Another mammogram.

Wait and see.

Sonogram

Wait and see

Biopsy

Wait and see

Lumpectomy

Wait and see

Good Report Cancer was Self-contained

Cat scan to prepare for 30 radiation Treatments

Treatments, No problem

Cat scan shows spot on right lung

Wait and see

A PET Test (Not the kind many of have been talking about lately)

Wait and see

Lung surgery required

Wait and see

Tuesday Feb. 25 Lung surgery

Wait and see

Good report was it was not the same as her breast cancer

Bad repot was it is cancer

Wait and see what the lab report is for follow up

It does sound encouraging it did not go into limp nodes. So if the final

report in a couple of days is that it was self contained it will be the end

of our wait and see game. If not we will deal with what has God has given us

and go from there.

She is doing well, but very tired. She will be in the hospital for about a

week. In the meantime family members and church members have furnished

transportation for me every day and help in anything I need. It was in the

center lob of her right lung. They did remove the whole lob. Her cancer

doctor said she didn't radiation but her surgeon insisted on having them. If

she hadn't had the radiation the spot wouldn't have been discovered. So

things did work out for the best. God works in mysterious ways.
