Guest guest
I feel the exact same way. This is such a struggle, and so often I feel as though I'm all alone in it. I live with a family of intuitive eaters and they just don't " get it. " They don't understand how food can have such power over me, why I can't stop when I'm full or when I use food to cope with particular feelings or emotions way more often than they do. It's hard to talk to someone about it when they don't understand at all, it's even harder to try to explain to try to get them to understand, and it's that much harder to hold it all inside and fight the battle on your own. This group has really been awesome for me and has kept me moving forward. My tortoise moves faster than I do when it comes to this intuitive eating journey, but as slow as I may be, I am still moving and I owe a lot of that to the encouragement and positivity I get from this group.
