Guest guest
Just because they call it thin crust doesn't mean much really. There ar also carbs in the other ingredients, but unless you plan to eat a lot of pizza, just take some extra insulin on special occasions like New Years and hope for the best!! Remember, spiking to a high bg on rare occasions isn't what does lasting damage. Lasting damage occurs when high bg's go untreated for months and years. There are a few things you can do to prepare for a couple of slices of pizza such as a long walk afterwards or eating the pizza mid-day, and not a late dinner for instance. Dave pizza for new years eve Welll, it all seems innocent enough. I ordered thin crust pizza with anchovies and mushrooms from papa john. I was good and had only 3 slices. I ended up with a blood sugar of 236, oh my, I didn't get it, till I went to calorie king just now and found out that their regular crust is 28 carbs per sllice and the thin is 24 carbs per slice, not much of a difference. I'm confused about how it could be thin with no carb reduction. Does anyone have experience with different pizza places, or do you all eat it homemade with pocket bread? I really want to know, I was so disappointed after really trying. Vicki Breffe In a changing world, we can trust God's unchanging word.
