Guest guest
I just had a thought......that what if nature had switched roles....and that only men could bear children?....and nature had gifted men with an extra layer or two of padding, to help insure the continuation of the species.....and men would have a tendency to put on weight, have periods, cramps, hormones--everything that we women deal with.....and what if women glorified only beautiful, gorgeous and thin men.....and posted them all over the TV, movies, magazines, films, etc...and featured articles, books, programs, etc. about how men could " lose 10 pounds " and become more attractive to women.....just wondering.....--debra
Guest guest
Then we would probably call ourselves men and the men women!! LOL As hard as it is to appreciate, men get to face the fact that nature figures they are 'expendable' (it only takes one man to keep about 20 women pregnant so there really could be a LOT less men and humans would survive). Plus they are so much more 'captured' by their hormones which directs their focus towards breeding much more than women have. (little head runs life more than big head) Life is a 'beetch' more often than not, but that's life Katcha > > I just had a thought......that what if nature had switched > roles....and that only men could bear children?....and nature had > gifted men with an extra layer or two of padding, to help insure the > continuation of the species.....and men would have a tendency to put > on weight, have periods, cramps, hormones--everything that we women > deal with.....and what if women glorified only beautiful, gorgeous and > thin men.....and posted them all over the TV, movies, magazines, > films, etc...and featured articles, books, programs, etc. about how > men could " lose 10 pounds " and become more attractive to > women.....just wondering.....--debra >
Guest guest
Hi Everyone, This is all true, and it's a fact that more women have body image issues than men, but let's remember that we do have some men on this list, and many men do have body image issues and food and dieting issues similar to what we are experiences. You would be surprised how deeply ingrained the diet mentality can be in men too. I've worked with a few, and it's tough for them.
