Job Description / Responsibilities:

The advisor-IEC will be expected to undertake the following tasks:

Manage overall relationship with creative agencies and provide

strategic inputs on creative as well as communication strategies.

Provide strategic and technical inputs in the following areas –

a) Finalizing the Terms of Reference (TOR) for contracting / re-contracting of

media & monitoring agencies.

Evaluation of the EOI’s and finalization of consultancy assignments in IEC

division.

c) Evaluation of the technical and financial proposals.

d) Planning and implementing capacity building programs for IEC division.

e) Monitoring the impact evaluation of IEC /BCC programs

Monitor the contract management including timely completion of the

assignment, release of payment, issuing contract amendments etc.

Commission collaborative research to identify areas and populations requiring

specific IEC interventions

Desired profile of the candidate:

Essential:

Masters Degree / PG diploma in Mass Communication from a recognized university /

Institute Experience of working with media and advertising agencies.

Desirable:

Experience in the field of preparation of Mass and mid media. Experience in IPC

will be preferred.

Should have a working experience of media management with good understanding of

Press and electronic media.

Well versed with NACP 3 and Indian Government policies related to implementation

of NACP 3 in the country

Experience:

Minimum 15 years experience in the field of advertising.

Knowledge and Skills:

Ability to work independently and as a team player in a multi-cultural

environment.

Ability to work with advertising and media agencies and media persons including

Ministry of Information and Broadcasting

Working knowledge of computers including MS Office package, essential.

Languages:

Proficiency in spoken and written English essential

Desired work experience (in complete years): Minimum 15 years experience in the

field of advertising.
