Acup is 8 ounces. A quart is 32. A gallon is 4 quarts.

A question about measurements

I need to know how many cups of water would make up two quarts. I'm kind of

confused. I googled the info and it said that 4 cups equal one quart so I

was thinking that if 4 cups equaled one quart that 8 cups would equal 2

quarts. Then I checked on the Food network and it said that 16 cups equaled

2 quarts. So now I have no idea which is correct. Can someone tell me what

is the right measurement for two quarts. I need to know because I'd like to

make some soup. Thanks.

Hi Elliot,

2 quarts is 8 cups which 's message should have helped you to figure it

out too. Hope it's good soup!

two pints make one quart. Two cups make one pint. Two quarts make half a

gallon. Four quarts make one gallon.
