Workshop on Corporate Social Responsibility - Bangalore (4th & 5th Sep'08)

Becoming a good corporate citizen is not easy. Many Corporates find the first

steps overwhelming. A recent study has pointed out that there is urgent need to

raise awareness levels and training for staff responsible for Corporate

Responsibility activities. At present barely 7 percent of the staff have had any

external training in Corporate Responsibility.

 

Population Services International in partnership with CrBiz ( Delhi) presents

‘CSR Essentials’ a two day workshop on the 4th & 5th of September in

Bangalore. This workshop focuses on some interesting topics around Corporate

Social Responsibility and also features some very experienced speakers from the

private sector.

 

CR Essentials is an attempt to bridge the gap in the levels of awareness. The

workshop will cover issues impacting business and the use of CR to promote

sustainability; ability to motivate staff in participating in CR activities;

ability to prepare and implement strategic plans for community involvement;

ability to create and sustain a win win business/NGO partnership; understanding

the various models for successful CR interventions. This workshop will surely be

beneficial to the participant.
