Sounds like a yeast rash probably from the yeast clearing out of his system.

Have you used Nystatin cream on his bottom, or Lotrimin AF?

HI Penny,

We certainly have had it much easier than you. I'm willing to share

my $.01 but I don't think it will be worth more than that.

I am no expert. Here's a guess: nystatin with a small amount of sugar

(e.g. in pear juice or in doctored-up rice milk) is probably better

than no nystatin at all. Don't know about the bottom problem or the

salt (well, if there's a corn problem, salt could be a problem -

maybe I shouldn't say anything, M. the iron-fisted corn queen might

get angry with me ... just KIDDING!) ... although it seems to me that

on this very restricted diet, a lot could be going wrong ...

I'm sure you've tried zinc supplementation to help appetite? Have you

tried the terra-chips and stix? (I think that's the right brand).

Vegetables that look a lot like potato chips. Might be worth a try.

When we go on trips, we bring 10 tons of Noah's bread (various

varieties) with seed butters. We also bring along an electric skillet

and cook his supper. Just a thought, you could try pounding the

chicken flat, then " breading " and frying it ...

Best of luck, go with our prayers ...
