What is interesting is that it is attracting and pulling metals into

the water but repelling and sending out chlorine into the air

probably through you lungs and skin.

If you look at my other post about fluorine forming metal complexes

with mercury, aluminum, beryllium etc. then perhaps this bath is

breaking these bonds and pulling the metals out into the water. The

fluorine or chlorine may then be free to be expelled out the skin or

breath. Since they have a high electronnegativity they would not be

attracted to the - ion water but repelled.

Mercury binds to sulphydryl(sp?) groups and I believe Shefy said her

water smelled like rotten eggs implying H2S. Perhapsd the bath

pulled out some mercury then the sulphur bound to hydrogen. Like I

said, my chemistry knowledge is basically zero but perhaps that is a

blessing! I am trying to think of this in as simple terms as

possible. Like charges repel and opposite charges attract.

So heavy metals with their + charges are not the only problem to

deal with. There is aslo the problem of unnatural - charges as well.

Things like fluorine and chlorine. Since the water supply is

bombarded with chlorine(-) as well as added fluoride(-) then I guess

one can't simply point the finger at just the metals, both unnatural

+ charge(metals) and unnatural - charge(chlorine, fluorine) must be

addressed.

What I don't understand is why the metals are pulled out in a

specific order? Why? Mercury, lead, arsenic, copper etc. are found

all over the periodic table but come out in a specific order? I

don't understand how the - ion pulling action of a foot bath or

magnetic clay bath will pull out one metal then another in a

specific order?

well, ebay listings just about sold out of them (all dr clarks listers & lurkers

must have bought them up this week) anyway you can put ionic foot bath in your

search engine and you will get a bunch of them. All brands with a wide range of

prices.

Hi,

I'm curious what the recommended schedule is for ionic foot baths.

I've heard it's best to detox at a slower pace than doing too much,

overwhelming the body and allowing the toxins to circulate even more.

Currently I have a colonic a week, and walk and rebound daily. I want

to do the Far-Infared Saunas and Ionic Foot Baths but just wondering

what your experiences have been. Thanks. - PH

Hi PH . . . Personally, I wouldn't do the ionic foot baths more than once every four days initially - then weekly. I can tell when I've overdone it because my Magnesium levels become depleted, then my feet start burning. . . If you notice burning, it's time to cut back. It's very important that you supplement with additional minerals when doing foot baths because the good comes out with the bad. www.ionicoasis.com has an excellent chart on minerals. Hugs, Rogene

Thanks for the info, Rogene. Fortunately the woman I go to for the

foot baths gives me a mineral drink and an alpha lipoic acid capsule

that I have to drink within 3 hours of the foot bath. I've been

going every other day, 3 times a week. Maybe I should cut back. I

am thinking of purchasing one for home though.

My feet don't burn but my tongue has been burning lately...not sure

what that's about. I don't have thrush and I take a methylcobalamin

B-12 sublingual tab every day so it confuses me why it should burn.

Would magnesium depletion cause that?

I just came back from Whole Foods w/ my empty gelatin caps you

suggested. I'm going to crush some garlic now! - PH

PH, I don't know why your tongue may be burning . . . but you may want to see if anything here makes sense. http://www.google.com/search?sourceid=navclient & aq=t & ie=UTF-8 & rls=HPIA,HPIA:2006-31,HPIA:en & q=burning+tongue+causes The place I took my first foot bath wouldn't do more than one a week. . . Recommendations for use run from every other day to every fourth day. Personally, I'd rather take my time than rush since I already have signs of Magnesium depletion. PH, I think you'll find havin your own foot bath is far more convenient and economical than going out for them . . . If you'll make an "Offer" of $225 for the best Ionic Oasis foot bath on ebay, it will be accepted. (half their retail price). Rogene

If you really search ebay, you'll find the home page for Ionic Oasis - but it's easier to just go to the page www.ionicoasis.com. Be sure to read everything! I purchased one years ago via ebay. I have been to 4 or more doctor's offices

where they offer this and used it some. I do not use it much now...for no reason

other than I just don't. I do not know if one is better than another. The one I

got looked just like the ones I used a the different doctor's offices.

How much was the foot bath? I am interested in purchasing one some day. Of

course I am broke now trying to come up with money for treatment. But I'm just

curious. Did the water turn black?

Hi,

I have the ion cleanse. It was more expensive than some other models,

but I felt it was safe. Be careful of some units. They can be

dangerous and short out. AMD ioncleanse has a site and it compares

other brands. Of course it is their site so I am not surprised that

they come out on top, but i do know that they are a reputable company.

I have had success with the foot bath. I used to get a huge detox rxn

off of it, but I built up slowly. My eyes would clear after a treatment.

Ion cleanse has since come out with more affordable units so it is worth

checking out.

I have not used mine lately out of laziness. I hate having to dump the

sludgy water afterwards. I always end up slopping it on the floor. I

did try doing in in a stainless steel sink, but i think the stainless

caused a reaction and made the arrays go bad faster.

Hope this helps.

My son used one at our chiropractor's office, not sure what brand; but he felt

it helped him to detox. At least he felt better after doing it, did it weekly

for at least a month or so, can't remember.

Oh, I paid less than $150.00. I think it was about $125. I would post a bid,

then when someone else got it, i usually got an offer to get it at the price I

bid. So I told a friend this and she did the same thing and got one also for

about $125. I am not sure what they are running for now.

Not everyone's water turns black. Mine turned orange, with a green center -

rather pretty, I thought. We looked on the chart. It said bile detox. I have no

idea if the chart is accurate.- Robin

This was in a newsletter about the ion foot bath detox.

Then Klinghardt mentions it in his writings.

Try running the bath without even placing your feet in it. Then think about

why its still changing colors and how effective it might really be?
