EPOS India (http://www.epos.in/) is currently looking for a full-time Manager, HIV/ AIDS for the Public Health Division to be based in Gurgaon. Summary of Position: This is a Senior/ Middle level position to develop and manage HIV/ AIDS programme support/ projects within EPOS' Public Health (PH) Division. 4. Detailed Responsibilities/ Tasks: • Network with potential client organisations for identifying project opportunities in the area of HIV/ AIDS. • Keep update of emerging issues and track developments in the field of HIV/ AIDS programmes. • Develop data base for client organisations and experts. • Build good rapport with client organisations and actively contribute to development and maintenance of client networks in the PH domain, e.g. through preparation of client visits, development of presentation material or holding client meetings independently. • Take lead in preparation of Expressions of Interests (EOI) and technical as well as financial proposals. • Technically supervise the project teams in maintaining quality and timeliness of project implementation. • Ensure timely completion of projects and submission of project specific agreed deliverables. • Use EPOS project management systems, project operational schedules, project reports, status briefs and other communications for internal and external audience to monitor and manage project implementation • Communicate and manage field teams as well as project partners effectively and efficiently with little management guidance. • Support developing state and regional teams of experts/consultants who could be a part of the implementation teams of identified projects. • Network with counterparts to create opportunities where Public Health related assignments could be initiated. • Develop Power Point presentations, training materials and teaching aids • Provide logistics support for programme/ project implementation and organizing conferences/meetings/workshops • Prepare periodic and project completion reports. 5. Desired Profile of the Candidate: Expert knowledge on HIV/ AIDS issues in India and its programming. Good knowledge about bi lateral, multinational, and private and public sector response to HIV/ AIDS, Knowledge on public & private health systems, especially on NRHM, RCH and primary health care systems. Hands on experience of managing HIV/AIDS projects in the country. Very well versed with computers. Excellent writing skills. 6. Desired Work Experience: Minimum five years of experience in similar tasks. 7. Tenure, Compensation: Full time position, 6 months probation; competitive compensation package commensurate with salary history, qualifications and relevant experience. 8.
