Guest guest
If you buck the law of averages, you must be willing to pay the consequences. For some reason entirely unknown to me some people think they are exempt from this law. Maybe you know the answer. Please inform us. Let us take a simple example which practically every body knows. If some one were to ask you what is the average bodily temperature of humans? Most of us would automatically answer 98.6 degrees. After all this is what our parents told us, or your health teacher told you, so why should not we believe it? What was the answer you gave when you first heard the question, What is the average bodily temperature of human beings? We are talking here about the average bodily temperature of humans throughout the world regardless of sex, race, creed religion or culture. It makes no difference who or where they are located. average temperature does not vary by much. For instance just raise this temperature by 2.4 degrees, and what do you have? If your answer is a fever, then you are right. Can you function with a fever of 101? Of course the answer is yes. If you ask the question another way, Can you function well at a fever of 101 of course the answer is no. Isn't it amazing how a very small differenc can make such a big difference in your life? Do you know what the average fasting blood sugar level is in human beings throughout the world ? Do you know the average A1C in human beings throughout the world? Ignorance abounds in the human race. Knowing these numbers to the questions above in my opinion is just as important as knowing the freezing point of water or the boiling point of water at sea level. There is nothing wrong with being ignorant, because it is fixable. On the other hand plain stupidity is a serious problem. I have often heard the biggest difference between stupidity and genius is genius has its limits.
