I used to make a pasta dish with any leftover smoked ham or bacon, peas, a bit of buttah and eggs. I used to add the pasta to bacon, pea and butter mixture then turn off the burner and add two beaten eggs. Toss everything around and the egg made a " creamy " kind of coating for the pasta.
