We are looking for a well qualified financial consultant to coordinate financial activities between our partners in India and our London office. Finance Technical Advisor, India Part time (estimated average 10 days per month), based in Bhubaneshwar. We are seeking a person/organisation to provide financial consultancy and coordinate financial management for our 4 partnership organisations across Orissa, West Bengal and Jharkhand. This post requires a professional accountancy qualification, with excellent accounting skills, IT and communications skills and the ability to write financial reports. The role will include reporting to donors such as WB, DFID and EU and supporting our partners with budgeting, financial management and auditing. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years experience of mid-senior level management in a finance or accounts position, and experience in providing financial consultancy, project management and reporting, and financial audits. Good written and spoken English is essential. This will be a one year contract position in the first instance. We cannot cover relocation expenses.
