Guest guest
Joleen, It takes time to get back to a normal routine. We will still be here no matter how long you are away - hugs. Love, Jo-Ann Re: Joleen's update Hi all!I think it's been over a week since I was last online! Needless to say, I"m way behind, but thought I"d send a little update to let you know I"m still out here. is now close to 8 pounds! We went to the dr Friday as she's had a low fever. They said it was extremely rare for breastfed babies to get any kind of infection until they're over 2 months, so they did all kinds of blood tests, etc. It was awful to watch them take her blood, but the good news is - they couldn't find anything serious. They said to just watch her and let them know if anything changes. She was baptized Sunday and it was a wonderful time for me. I was in tears! I just can't believe that she's here and healthy after such a difficult pg. I feel so blessed I just start to cry sometimes - ok, so maybe it's the hormones! Cameron is also doing much better! He's really helping now and acts very lovingly toward her! That is also wonderful to watch. He had his birthday at school today (real birthday is in June and his school ends next week.) He loved all the attention and claims that he is now 4 and this was his real birthday! So that's it around here. I'm still on cloud nine, but also dead tired! Take care, even if I'm not online, I"m thinking of all of you and wishing you the best.Joleen

Guest guest
Joleen, It was great to hear from you. I know you must be so busy. I am glad to hear they couldn't find anything seriously wrong with , but I hope her fever goes away soon. I will keep you and her in my thoughts. I am also glad to hear the baptizism went well. I bet it was beauitful! I can only imagine, you must look at her sometimes and just be amazed. She must be eating well to be 8 pounds already!! That was nice of Cameron's class to have his b-day party now! He must of thought that was really cool. Sounds like he is doing pretty good, Disney, early bday party, what more could a kid want!? (smile) Post whenever you can, it is great to hear about everyone!! Take care of yourself and try to get some sleep. (yeah, right!) Enjoy! Guest guest
Hi Joleen! I'm so glad is ok!! That is so painful to watch them try to take the blood work, did they poke her little foot?? You and Kendall are making me look bad, already having the baptism either done or scheduled! I got the gown from my cousin in California (all of the cousins on one side were Christened in it, and our kids too...) but that is as far as I've gotten, I still need to call my friend and ask her if she would be Mikaela's God-parent, I'm sure she will, then it will be a matter of scheduling. I'm so glad the baptism was a memorable event! What a great day to do it, on Mother's day!!! I bet she looked like an angel, you will have to send a picture ok? Keep trying to nap during the day when you can, soon she will sleep a little more steady. I'll write more later, Take Care!!!!
