Guest guest
Hi: I'm new to the group & would appreciate any information you might have regarding migraines. I have such severe migraines they have been diagnosed as " chronic migraines " which means I miss over 15 days in a month due to them. I cannot plan anything as I never know when they will hit. Lots of times I'm just recovering from one, after spending up to 3-4 days in bed, and another starts. Makes for a very difficult way to stay in a relationship. I've been told that more than 70% of people with MS have much stronger migraines & more frequent. I live in Northern Ontario & am grateful just to have a family doctor, unfortunately I'm his only MS patient so his knowledge is not what a neurologist might have. I was diagnosed in 2000, spent several years on Copaxone & my Dr. and I figured if I didn't feel it was doing me any good, why take something that is so expensive. Since stopping it my health, remissions etc are none the worse. I'd appreciate any help you can provide to me. Kathy
