Guest guest
Dear FORUM, Re: /message/9541 This is a very good job done--three cheers for the same. I wish this can be replicated all over the country--the reason is simple, because of many reasons(lack of health facilities, faith ,approachability) people still go to these traditional healers. KAP studies carried out for them will enlighten us to train them and help in curbing the disease further. Guest guest
Dear FORUM, Re: /message/9541 In my personal experience, some PLHIVÂ have squandered all savings on the slightest ray of hope- one spent over 25k in treatment at baba ramdev pharmacy; many went to faith healers for secondary psychosocial mainfestations who dont charge any money, but the vast majority suffer in silence with mental health problems. There is no provision for mental services of PLHIV under NACP, THIS ISSUE NEEDS TO BE LOOKED INTO FOR ADHERENCE OF ART. -- Dr RK Sood drrksood@... +91 9418064077, +91 9445157327
