Me! I asked about this at a peri visit and he said it was bunkum and

coincidence. (He also disbelieves in the value of terbutaline PRN).

However, I do take 100 and sometimes 200 mg. of magnesium oxide above

my daily RDA, just for giggles. FWIW, at 28 weeks I am having many

fewer B-H than I did at 18 weeks. (Knock on wood).

When I picked up a bottle at the store, an older woman with an orange

dress and tam on her head volunteered that I was a smart girl to take

it, and " it's not enough to physic ya, " meaning, I guess, that it

wouldn't have much laxative effect. Oh well . . . can't have

everything!

Thanks Beth for the reply! My peri seems to think everything I read

is nonsense... she told me that pregnant women should not be allowed

to read anything health related and we should stick to trashy

romance... hum... never read a trashy romance and no plans to

anytime soon.

I think I am going to try some mag Oxide, can't hurt and maybe, just

maybe it will help!

Congrats on getting to 28 weeks!! I can hardly wait to be at that

point.... even though I'd like this baby to incubate to at least 36

weeks... 28 is a great milestone!

BTW, if I remember correctly you are on bedrest... is that right?

How strict and why are you bedresting?

Thanks again!
