Maybe, but it kept going. >> Juli, When at the Autism 2000 conf in Houston a few weeks ago, I had a conversation with Reynolds, she was telling me when her husband did the Difulcan for yeast problems that even the insides of his eyes itched...she said he was really bad for the first few days...and after 10 days - his sugar cravings finally subsided. Having done the garlic & probiotics - which I went off the wagon a week ago - just too nuts right now - I was ready to twist off...I can only imagine what it would have been like on Nystatin...Jess has definitely had an increase in seizure activity even using homeopathic methods - but she is getting better as far as mood & loose stools are concerned...only time will tell when we re-test her at GPL. ...I can definitely feel what you're going thru, like most of the parents on this list...we are here to help one another and know that we have a place to go where others truly understand your pain, fear & frustration. All I can say is hang in there...also, after seeing someone's post about rice being binding - so is soy...so you may definitely want to make sure you're rotating your milks. I use the Almond Breeze, EdenSoy Rice/Soy milk & Westsoy Plus plain soymilk...it seems that when I make sure Jess doesn't get too much soy, her stools loosen up. Also, when I was giving her Lactase to help w/the Lactose in her seizure drugs, she got really constipated, which the ped. said perhaps there really wasn't that much Lactose in the meds, and giving her the Lactase was going overboard on digestion...if that makes any sense. You just have to remember that every kid is different & alot of this is definitely trial & error that we all have to go thru to figure out what works best for our own children. in TX
