Guest guest
And to add to Ruth's comments in an earlier post, please, please, encourage your family, friends, bar mates, and even people you can't stand to sign their donor card. My wife is the coordinator for the donor program in our state and it is amazing to me the number of people that do not make such a simple and valuable act. Funny, too, most of them are the biggest damned jesus freaks. One had the gall to tell her god expects him to show up in heaven with all of his body. She asked, don't you think heaven will have spare body parts for those who need them. But, you can't teach stupidity; ignorance can be changed, albeit slowly. I understood that Canada actually automatically assumes you are a donor unless you opt out, the thinking being since socialized medicine kept your parts healthy all of your life in death they belong to society. Maybe that was a proposal and is not yet reality. It should be everywhere. SS -- No virus found in this outgoing message. Checked by AVG Free Edition.
