Guest guest
OK! I just had a great afternoon and I really wanted to share it with the group. I am almost done reading IE the book and the chapter where it talks about respecting your body just got to me today. I really want to respect my body, not just today, but EVERY day while I'm on this IE journey. In the book it suggests going out and buying underwear, which sounds kind of strange, but once you read why, it makes sense. They said through their research they found that if you go out and buy new underwear, that fits your body size as of the present that you will be more comfortable when wearing it and feel better about yourself. Well, I read that and I just got up and went straight to the source of underwear....'s Secret. I never buy myself stuff like that and I decided it was high time it was. Let me tell you, I had so much fun! I tried on all kinds of stuff, in my size, and I loved it! I felt so good about it. The stuff fit, no stress marks around my waist or from the bra straps, I tried on really colorful ones too. I only bought one piece but the feeling I had when I left was so amazing. I was smiling and felt so....free! I know the road ahead for me with IE will not always feel like this, in fact I know it will not, but this afternoon I had a great time, and it was the first time I had a " great time " in such a long time. I recommend doing something like what I did for yourself. It was totally worth the " way-to-expensive-for-my-budget " multi-colored bra I bought! Guest guest
Awesome! Congratulations! This is a huge step, you may not even realize how big this is. Many, many women will not do this no matter how many times they hear the suggestion. And even if they know if may make a difference in how they feel about themselves. It's just a mental block they can't get past.So great job and thanks for sharing, I bet you will encourage others to do the same. Thanks!
