Marriages of HIV positive people and issues related the marriages

Dear FORUM,

Aamhich Aamache Sanstha Sangli (Maharashtra) is the movement of the

HIV positive people that goals the welfare of HIV positive people.

With this goal the various type of activities are run by the

organization. The organization dare to start the marriage beuro for

HIV positive people on 2nd October 2005 and this thing was happened

first time in India. The following things are made for the HIV

positive people's marriages:

1.Special marriage beuro where the bio-data and photographs of the

bride and brid grooms are availble

2.Marriage melas (campains) are arranged

3.Counseling and family issues are deal

The problems we faced

1. More males are comming forword for marriages and very low females

came forwad for registration

2. The bride and bride grooms are not interested to accept the children of of

their partners.

3. The proirity is given to the financial sound bride grooms

4. Not intrest of the bride and bride grooms to involve the

parrents and relatives in the marriage responsibilities.
