I will forward your question to Kara...however, this is what she has in her

book, Help Me Behave under the section of Chips.... " These chips are all fried in

corn oil. Corn oil does not have corn protein, so it should not cause a

problem. If you do notice a change in behavior, add corn oil to the list of

items to avoid. "

Now...to confuse you even more...on Ephraim's website he has corn oil listed as

a food he avoids...so I think we're back to the old addage of if he can tolerate

it then go for it...I think it's just going to depend on the person and how

sensitive they are...Jess has not had a problem with corn oil...yet! Also, you

probably noted that in a later email directly from Imagine - that the Chocolate

is derived from corn alcohol...not in a corn oil base - that's what I get for

not calling the manufacturer directly. And I want to thank the listmember who

posted that email...because I emailed the same lady and told her what I'd been

told and she re-confirmed that the chocolate flavor is from corn alcohol...and

knock on wood...I haven't seen any real noticeable kind of reaction from

Jess...however, I will be tracking that a lot closer now as far as behavior

goes...usually our MAIN indicator is the poop roller coaster.
