12-step for balanced eating

I should mention, as someone talked about an OA-type group that

involves IE, there is one! It's called EDA

(www.eatingdisordersanonymous.org), and they use the 12-step principles

while taking a balanced approach to life. Their idea is balance, not

abstinence, and they advocate a non-rigid approach to food and living.

They currently have three GREAT phone meetings each week. You can see

their website for literature and more information. For me, it really

helps ground me in the spiritual benefits and tools of a 12-step

program, while allowing me to eat without restricting foods or using

the whole " red-light, green-light " mentality.
