Guest guest
Dear Group, Re: /message/9105 In response to Dr. Divya Mithel's experience sharing regarding seperate classes on Sex Education among boys and girls in rural areas. I completely agree because due to our social taboo's and traditions they are kept in dark and when suddenly they come in exposure of such issues together, accident happens in excitement to explore new experiences. We can see, in developing areas of rural India and metro cities, the cases of 'abortions' and STIs are growing. To education our next generation, we have to take a move carefully, respecting the traditions, in an innovative way. These can be - A) Approach the community first. Convence the main people/parents. C) Provide them education on such topics(no matter how many comes) D) Once when parents convenced...automatically they'll help to educate their children. E) And when children get educated, they can be used to educate the community. Its a time taken process but effective and used in different aspects and on different issues, in the community by the development professionals from long time. As it is told from early time that children are the future of our country, we have to handle them carefully to make the society beautiful.
