Last day of the Conference

Yes, Bob-from-Tacoma, I do intend to attend your cohort's class! (That's

coming up next at 1300 hrs.)

I am SO pooped - wasn't able to participate in the Tuesday night City Walk

excursion. But that's okay - I needed the rest.

Many of the classes are quite good, but there are a few duds amongst them.

It just reinforces why *I* attend these conferences: for the networking

opportunities. Yah, nice to get educational credits or more larnin' in

our chosen career fields.... since there aren't a whole lot of those

opportunities elsewhere.

Tonight is the Closing Gala and then tomorrow it's off to the airport 3

hours before my flight home. Gotta change planes in Chicago, too (Midway,

not O'Hare, thank goodness!)

I highly encourage anybody who has not been to an International APCO

Conference to do as I've done over the years: save up your time and many,

many dimes to attend these! That's if your department/agency won't spring

for it for ya, anyway.

Well, off to find some lunch.
