Guest guest Posted July 24, 2008 Report Share Posted July 24, 2008 Dear 911 CARES, This is a request for prayer and financial assistance, Sheila Swan, Texas Department of Public Safety Communications Supervisor in Texas had her 25 year old son seriously injured last week in a near fatal car crash in Kilgore, Texas. Her son ( Swan) is in the Mother Francis Hospital in Tyler, Texas; has suffered brain damage and is currently 100% disabled. Ms. Swan who is single, is having to stay in Tyler to provide care and is incurring substantial expenses to live and eat. She currently is paying $39.00 per night to stay at the hospital's hospitality suite and eating what she can. Her co-workers around the state are putting together a couple of fund raisers to help defray some expenses. Ms Swan is a 25 year Public Safety Telecommunicator and Supervisor for the Texas Highway Patrol. The son was just starting a new job and has no insurance. He has a wife and two children.
