Dear 911 CARES,

This is a request for prayer and financial assistance,

Sheila Swan, Texas Department of Public Safety Communications

Supervisor in Texas had her 25 year old son seriously injured

last week in a near fatal car crash in Kilgore, Texas. Her son

( Swan) is in the Mother Francis Hospital in Tyler, Texas;

has suffered brain damage and is currently 100% disabled. Ms. Swan

who is single, is having to stay in Tyler to provide care and is

incurring substantial expenses to live and eat. She currently is

paying $39.00 per night to stay at the hospital's hospitality suite

and eating what she can. Her co-workers around the state are

putting together a couple of fund raisers to help defray some

expenses. Ms Swan is a 25 year Public Safety Telecommunicator and

Supervisor for the Texas Highway Patrol. The son was just starting

a new job and has no insurance. He has a wife and two children.

Any assistance your organization may be able to offer would be

appreciated. Thanks in advance.
