Are you talking about monetary contributions? If so, why would you need it?

We've had a senior citizen call in program for nearly 25 years. Currently

we have only two who participate but in the past we did ever have a dozen at

one time. If we don't hear from them by noon, we try to make contact by

phone and if need be we'll send a patrol car.

Our borough has what it calls a Senior Citizen Advisory Board appointed by

the mayor and council which works to create programs for the seniors. There

is also a group called The XYZ Club (Extra Years of Zest) that's been active

since the 1960's. Periodically reminders will be sent to those groups and

other organizations that might have seniors plus a blurb is posted in the

local paper.

Everything financial is covered by our municipal budget.

We have a program called Emergin that make calls. It has not been

useful for us. Most of the calls we make we need to confirm that the

call was received and the auto dial only confirms that the call was

made.
