Guest guest
Rhonda, thanks so much for your reply! As 'fate' would have it, the last BM i had last night before going to bed did have blood in it, but i wrote that off as being soooo sore/flaring things up, so to speak! I'm fine this morning, the trips to the bathroom have ended for now! I will keep an eye on it and go to the dr and talk about things! Again, thanks to everyone for your replies and help...this group is GREAT!! Sherry
Guest guest
and Sherry, I wasn't around this weekend when y'all were discussing Crohn's disease. I have Crohn's and have since I was 26 years old. It flared up right after my son was born and for two years I was taking predisone and sulfa drugs and pretty sick. I lost a lot of weight during that time. It went in to remission and has been in remission now for 10 years (even while pregnant with my daughter). I am not taking any medicine at all BUT sometimes I still run to the bathroom like Sherry described. It is usually after eating a salad in a restaurant. Sherry, I wouldn't get to worried yet especially if you are not bleeding but still you might want to check it out with a doctor. This WOL has helped my Crohn's considerably. , tell your sister not to get discouraged -- that it can go in remission. If y'all have any questions, just e-mail me off line.
