2nd National Conference on HIV/AIDS Therapy: Current Practices & Future Options

2009, Mumbai

Venue: Hotel Grand Hyatt, Mumbai, India

Date: 10th & 11th Jan. 2009

ANNOUNCEMENT

Dear Colleague,

Greetings from HHRF!!!

Human Healthcare & Research Foundation (HHRF) in collaboration with Center for

Clinical Global Health Education, s Hopkins School of Medicine and active

support from NACO & ICMR is happy to organize the 2nd National Conference on

HIV/AIDS Therapy - Current Practices and Future Options 2009.

The maturing HIV epidemic in India is posing newer challenges. Newer

opportunistic infections, HIV related malignancies & tuberculosis are adding to

the dilemmas. Universal access to first line ART, although beneficial, has

challenges of adherence and ART toxicities.

Newer frontiers in HIV research are opening new vistas and enriching the wealth

of information. But translation of the same in clinical success necessitates

sharing of experiences and interactions with experts. The conference would also

be an interactive forum of multiple stakeholders to stymie the epidemic by

propagating preventive measures at ground zero.

Hence HHRF extends you an invitation to participate in 2nd National Conference

on HIV/AIDS Therapy. The theme of the conference is “Recent advances in

comprehensive care of HIV for long term survival " .

Renowned International and National faculty has consented to share their

experiences and recent development in HIV care. Continuum of HIV care from

primary to tertiary level in the context of the Indian Health infrastructure

will be addressed.

Venue: Hotel Grand Hyatt, Mumbai, India

Date: 10th & 11th Jan. 2009
