Guest guest
and I are a bit silly when it comes to phones and calling each other. We waited very long before we actually got cell phones (kind of felt that the public phones was good enough if you really had to make an emergency call, but then the public phones started to more or less disappear, railway stations still have them but not many other places), but when we did we used them mainly to keep in touch with each other during the day. Just a minute ago called to sing "Se det snöar" ("See, it's snowing" - it's a children's song), as is her custom if it's sbowing when she goes outside... I always know if there has been snow during the day, because then I would have got a singing phone call... yeah, I know, silly. silly. love/Reb> >> > Well, you didn't miss ME (sniffle sniffle <G>) but I'm here. Guest guest
Christmas crowds seem to drive everyone a little crazy (or very crazy, sometimes...). Last year, I think it was, I was in a toy store buying a board game for 's mother. I had found it and was heading for the check out, when I felt someone pulling at it. I held it harder, and then the pull got harder. I looked up to see a middle aged woman actually trying to pull it out of my hands – literally... I said: "Excuse me, I am holding this" (because she didn't seem to notice me, at all, just focused on the board game). She looked up and said, still holding on to it: "OK....But are you going to buy it?"... Ehhm, yes, surprisingly enough, I am going to buy the thing I am trying to carry to the check out...Or, you know, at least IF I manage to reach the counter still holding it...love/Reb>> He's very good about it, usually - he gets done quicker, and doesn't have> to deal with me freaking out in the car. Guest guest
Oh, that’s funny! Too bad shoppers here aren’t so “considerate” – instead they trample each other and get into fistfights, sigh. What annoys me about Christmas crowds is that there ARE crowds – I’m a bit of a hermit, don’t like too many people, don’t like my personal space invaded. I’m just an old grumpy granny! Guest guest
Well, if I get distracted 4 may be too much for me as well... Today I went out for potatoes, cabbage, lingonberries and milk (4 items, right). And had to go to another store, because the first didn't have cabbage, and then remembered that it would be a good thing to do the grocery shopping for tomorrow as well, since I have a lot of other things on my schedule then. That way I ended up coming home with potatoes, cabbage, lingonberries, filmjölk (sort of like buttermilk/yougurt, for breakfast), almonds and raisins (for use with the berakfast and with the glögg), fish and french fries for supper tomorrow. BUT no milk.... love/Reb> >>> >> >> >>> >> > Well, you didn't miss ME (sniffle sniffle <G>) but I'm> >here. Guest guest
That's OK. Guest guest
Hi ! It went well, thanks for asking. It was a waste of time really. One of the office staff called me and said it was very important I go in to see the gastro doc about my test results and symptoms. So,the only appt was for 8am! And I go and the results for the test were not even there! Wouldnt have been much to see anyway cuz it was a gastric empty study and after the 1st set of pictures I puked and they couldnt finish. So,was not very happy about havn to get up so early and my mom and sis did too to take me.Was kinda a waste of time. So,I do not have to re-do the test even though he wanted me to so he could see how bad the gastroparesis is but he understood cuz since ive been on my meds im not having serious vomit attacks and the day of the test my stomach was bad all day. So,we will continue with the Reglan,Bentyl, and Prilosec for now since its working. How are you?Hope well.Hows lil Victorya?Bet shes so big now.Are you all ready for christmas?Im almost done.Went shopping yesterday and im dead now.lol. Guest guest
I love lingonberries; they put cranberries, which I also love, to shame: and our local fantastic grocery store has them!I also adore milk! But lingonberries are just plain heavenly! GOOOO! Reb, n To: MSersLife Sent: Sunday, December 14, 2008 9:31:26 AMSubject: Re: O.K., so here's the deal, test post Well, if I get distracted 4 may be too much for me as well... Guest guest
Sorry about that last post, I was trying to type and help with a puppy at the same time. Hit the wrong button that's what happens when you try to to do many things at once with an MS brain. I was saying, Well. I wonder what was so important that you had to come in for. Not doing the test again, well that's good for you but if they really need those results they might put you out to do it and get some results. I thought I was done with all my shopping, but then e told us about the new baby coming so I had to go get some maternity stuff for her and a robe for h. But I finished the stocking and now I just have to wait for the 22 to start cooking and that's it. Well, I hope your feeling well and getting rest when you need it. How are the girls??? I am putting pics up in my photo album on here of Molly's pups and Victorya.
