If you don't have a steamer bucket for your crockpot you can use a coffee can if it will fit or any can that fits into the crockpot with an inch or more clearance on all sides around it. Put foil on the top and cut some slits. I think you put in enough water on the outside of the can to come a third of the distance up the outside of he can.
