I am familiar with Mercola and the site. Currently the

FDA is working to get Thimerisol out of all vaccines.

Those for children are now free of it, and effort is being

made to get the substance out of all vaccines. I am,

as a polio survivor, absolutely convinced that many

vaccines do far more good than harm. I myself do not

get influenza vaccines, however, as they are the only

vaccine left on the market that are cultured on egg yolk,

to which I am allergic. I get all the others, including polio,

as their are so many variations of those sackie viruses,

Poliomyelitis being one of many, many sackie viruses.

In Europe they use a vaccine for Tuberculosis. The only

reason that we do not use it here, as that in theory it would

cost more to do blood testing and a chest X-Ray than to

do the more inexpensive skin test.

I did not have the flu for decades, having had the so-called

"Asian Flu" in the 1950s, and nearly dying, but I did get it

two years ago and spent a very long time in hospital and in

rehabilitation.

Then there is the Herpes Simplex Virus I, which I get on my

lips, in my mouth and in my nose--I would take a vaccine for

that in a minute!
