Guest guest
Oh boy, ...get out the space heaters if youhave them and aim at any pipes that are on outsidewalls. We used to live in an 1850 n that hada kitchen pipe that would freeze up nearly every winter. We kept a small space heater under the sink. The best to you on this. Keep us posted. Guest guest
This old house has piping as an afterthought – and somebody thought hard, because all our plumbing is concentrated in a less than 10=ft square area, all inside walls. The most worrisome is the outside pipes, which are what froze last weekend. Himself wrapped them up and we’re leaving the water running a little, so hopefully we won’t freeze again… Mercy, it’s BRISK here today! <G> in WY " You get a wonderful view from the point of no return... Guest guest
All our critters live in the house anyway - which kinda startled the vet in connection with the 90-pound shepherd-malamute. They go out juuuuussssssst long enough to " go " in this weather. And I made a coat for the little one. ;-) T in WY " You get a wonderful view from the point of no return... Guest guest
Bear’s a big old knucklehead. He just can’t understand why Daddy and his two “sisters” don’t want to stay outside and play in the nice freezing weather. <G> On the other hand, he is very fond of his spot on the couch or up on our bed… T in WY " You get a wonderful view from the point of no return... Guest guest
True. Bear sounds familiar. I have four wolf-dogs, which Ihad when I actually lived in a house. Now they live with myfriend, Edna, who also has MS, and with her eldest son. They are absolute babies. When I have "sat" them whenEdna and her son went to visit relatives, all four of the dogsdid want to be on the king-sized bed with me! They havepack mentality: the humans are the alpha and beta packleaders and they have fits if one leaves, but that does notstop any of them from occupying the bed, sofa, whateverrecently warmed by the humans! On the other hand, should they ever escape, the will tear around the block about five times and then collapse onthe sofa, bed, chair, whatever. And if one of us takesone of them to the veterinarian (that is, out of the houseand away from the yard) they have a fit! When we come back with the recently veterinarianizedwolf-dog, all the rest of the pack are howling by the front door and acting desperate. They are very loving, somewhat like three-year-oldtoddlers.Love to you, , and to all in our group, and to all of our dogs, cats, pets. . . .n To: MSersLife Sent: Saturday, December 20, 2008 3:10:17 PMSubject: RE: RE: storm moving in...
