Guest guest
Thanks for the weather update. Sounds like some bad weather back East. I'm scheduled to board the Amtrak train on Saturday to head for Chicago. A suggestion, Kate: Please don't use that cursive font. It's kind of hard to read on the PC monitor. Thanks.Dan U dao_nguu@... Guest guest
Well its l0 am here and 9 degrees F. High today maybe 22. All I know is that my furnace has been running for an hour. I haven't even turned it up yet. I set it at the lowest temp on the dial at night and when I am gone for work , which is 50. At least yesterday my ex came by and put the plastic up on the windows for me and finally got up in the attic and spread out the insulation we had tossed up there in rolls this summer, but I hadn't been able to get him to put it down. My utility bill has been climbing the last couple of months, without me using the furnace more than 30 minutes a day it jumped $40. I know the blower is coming on more often even without turning up the heat. My last utility bill was $130 and I was cold a lot. But I have been using the extra money I have set for utility bills (up to $250) to pay off the dentist. I am hoping to keep my utility bills under 180 so I can get the dentist bill paid off in 5 more months.
